Our Canadian Wildflower mixture contains a carefully selected mixture of 21 different annual and perennial wildflowers that are suitable for Canada’s climate. The annuals will bloom the first year, while the perennials will overwinter and bloom starting the second year. Our 300 gram bags of seed are sufficient for 1500 sq. ft. of area. Mix the seeds with some sand to make it easier to get an even spread (or drop a Wildflower seed bag into a your spreader mixed together with grass seed to start a wildflower meadow). Below is a list if wildflower seeds contained in the mix. Lawncare tips here! Gro-Turf® is used primarily as a top dress to maintain turf and improve turf conditions. If seeding a new area, it is important to irrigate multiple times per day, especially when the sun is high and air conditions are dry. Seed should be covered with a layer of high moisture holding organic material to keep seed moist throughout the germination process.
